Happy Tuesday!
I'll be heading to Malacca, Malaysia tomorrow to spend the weekends there with my family for a family function and more importantly, for a refreshing bonding time together.
It is a 2 to 3 hours (depending on the traffic) coach bus ride from Singapore so prepare for things to do
(eg Ipad & books) or for some napping good time along the way.
The state of Malacca is famous for its rich historical and
cultural background as it was once ruled under by the different colonial rulers, the Portuguese, Dutch and
British. I have been there once or twice since I was a kid and going there
after so many years, is going to be a nostalgic experience with its unique architecture
and yummy food, bringing back all those memories from years before....
I did my last minute packing *this is highly not advisable!* -and I'm pretty pleased that I could pack everything in, from my dressier "event" outfits to my casual "touristy" outfits. I've read somewhere that it is better to roll your clothes in your suitcase to prevent creases and more importantly to save space. I'm not pretty sure about the crease part, but I've decided to stack it up instead.

my suitcase :D |
It's gonna be hot and humid in the daytime over there, so I'm going to wear my hat, don lighter clothing and slather lots of sunscreen!

remember to put me all on |
I'm pretty excited to go Malacca again especially with my family, just like the old times.
Will post pictures from the trip.
much love,
rich xxx
