Malacca over the weekend was a rather short trip for me. Apart from the occasional sight seeing and dining, my family also attended a family function that required me to dress a little more formal. I love to wear dresses for formal events, they're so easy to wear and I could play a lot more with accessories for matching!
I planned to stretch my outfits for the trip by bringing work wear staples (such as my blazer) to fit my casual outfits. I love to wear comfy long white blouse to pair along with stretchy jeans for a fuss-free and comfort travelling.
Who says fashion can't be comfortable?

For my dressier outfits during my family event, I wore a little black dress (LBD) worn with my shiny patent black platforms (below). I am loving the very feminine lace details of this dress, especially the mandarin collar which gave it a hint of sophistication. I paired it with a beautiful mint statement necklace to contrast the monochromatic outfit and inject some fun color in my otherwise somber outfit.
