Ever since I have graduated from polytechnic school, I decided to clear out my wardrobe to remove clothes I don't wear too often so I can have more wardrobe space *an excuse I give to do more shopping*.
But no, seriously, I'm in need of more space!
A good rule I always keep in mind when deciding which clothes I would categorise as "Throw/Give" is any clothing that I have not used at all, or clothing used once or twice only for the past ONE year.
Someone's trash can be another's treasure! Remember to give someone!
Different people may have different opinions as to how long you think a clothing is good enough to be thrown or given away. If the clothing is still in good condition, you may want to give it to family members or friends. Or donate to charity like Salvation Army.
For me, the reason why I would hardly wear a particular clothing is likely due to the fact that I feel uncomfortable wearing or being seen in it. It's either too loud, too short, too loose or too tight.
My wardrobe typically consists of clothes in neutral, pastel or blue hues. I am loving prints and textures currently, especially laces and polka dots! I would love to try out mixing these two together and see what styles I can come up with particularly with my petite frame.
I love styles that are effortlessly chic yet classy and this often reflects my personal style as well.
Hope to share more of what I am wearing lately.
much love,
rich xxx
